ACTION 1: LIST YOUR PI CHAIR AND SHARE A STORY OF IMPACT
Every strong public image starts with two things: a person who leads it and a story worth telling. Your first Ignite action brings both together.
First, list your club or district Public Image Chair. This connects your PI leader directly with the Zone PI team, so they receive resources, learning session invitations, and support throughout the year.
Next, share a Story of Impact. Small stories matter. It might be a single service project, a community partnership, a member whose life changed through Rotary, or a moment that reminded you why you serve. Stories of roughly 600 to 900 words work well for publication, but a compelling shorter story is always better than one stretched to fit. Include two to six photos with captions and photographer credits if you have them.
Your story doesn’t need to be finished. Submit an idea, a rough draft, or a polished piece. Our Zone PI team will help you shape it, and selected stories will be published through Uniting Through Service, bringing your club’s work to audiences across Zones 28 & 32 and beyond.
